Reiki Energy helps a person’s being to
heal itself. It can work on a mental, emotional and physical level.
The energy goes to where it is needed, however it will only be
received where permission for the healing is freely given. If a
person subconsciously doesn’t want to receive the energy, then they
won’t.
Healing can be given distantly or hands on. Both are just as
effective as the other. During a ‘hands on’ session, the client
remains fully clothed. While lying down the reiki practitioner works
down from the head to feet, then the client turns over, and the
procedure is repeated again on the back. A treatment lasts for about
1 to 1 ½ hours. The energy continues to work for 24 hours.

We will start of with a brief discussion
about your needs
and expectations. You will then be asked to lie on the couch,
fully clothed. I will then start by placing my hands on or
near your body. Some people experience sensations such as heat and
often there is emotional release. Most people also find the
experience deeply relaxing. You are always in full control,
and if at any stage you feel uncomfortable, then we can stop the
session.
I take a professional but caring, compassionate and non-judgmental
approach.
You may probably need more than one session, but this depends upon
your own personal needs.
A typical session lasts for 1 hour and costs £20, this includes time
to talk about your experience at the end of the session.
